I've seen firsthand the love Half the Sky brings to orphaned children...Amazing...
Half the Sky offers the love of family for orphaned children in China. Half the Sky establishes and operates infant nurture and preschool programs, provides personalized learning for older children and establishes loving permanent foster care, medical care and guidance for children with disabilities.
My goal is to raise $5000 for a Refurbish and Resupply gift to provide a Half the Sky Children's Center with a new paint job and a replacement package of favorite toys.
It may not be the most glamorous gift but it's certainly one of the most sorely needed! HTS preschools and infant nurture centers, and the toys that fill their shelves, get a real workout. If you've ever lived with a toddler or preschooler, try multiplying the wear-and-tear that every loved thing in that child's life endured by many dozens of happy little hands, feet and teeth. HTS is lucky if the 'sturdy' developmental toys last a year.
